Our Mission​
The mission of Truessence Yoga School is to welcome anyone wanting to learn and certify with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200 level teacher with special focus on offering no-cost trainings to Black, Indigenous, People of Color. My vision in creating a space that is welcoming and truly accessible to everyone is that this may continue to diversify local studios and gyms so that all beings may feel fully represented, cared for, valued, and included.

Welcome to Truessence Yoga Vinyasa Teacher Training! This school brings together the best of what I've learned in twenty-five years of teaching, mentoring, training, and managing.
At Truessence you can expect to learn the basics of anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy/ethics/lifestyle, and yoga teaching methodology, but what I'm most excited about is teaching you the technique, vocabulary, and flow of the skeleton class you will be learning and taking out into the world to teach. The skeleton class is timeless. It will serve as a solid foundation for you to build and grow and expand on as your teaching style and vocabulary and essence grows!

Through yoga teacher training students have the opportunity to secure an income with their future teachings and maybe a career in that direction. Regardless of your intention, teacher training will deepen your self-awareness, self-love, and self-respect. These things are yours to keep in your heart always and to share with your neighbors, families, friends, and communities.

My hope is that equity and inclusion may be sustained and continue to grow in our studios and gyms bringing much needed love and compassion to the world, now and forever.
